Iraq holds the ruins of Babylon, once ruled by King Nebuchadnezzar. The famous Hanging Gardens, one of the Seven Wonders, are believed to be here.
It has more than 40 million people today, with over 60% under age 25. Iraq is also home to two major rivers — the Tigris and Euphrates — that shaped early human civilization.
