Fasting Tracker
Your Fasting Records
Obviously, fasting is beneficial not only for health but also helps us avoid sins. If you want to please Allah and defeat Shaytan, you should fast on the days our beloved Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) fasted. Fasting means refraining from actions that are haram in Islam, as well as abstaining from eating and drinking from Fajr to Maghrib. During this time, we are trained to avoid sins committed through our hands, eyes, ears, tongue, and other parts of the body.
I created a tool (you can see above) named the Fasting Tracker Tool, in which you can add a report on your devices and recall it for upcoming years. Unlike many paid apps, this one is totally free and tracks your holy month fasting with the tool.
What is a Fasting Tracker?
A Fasting Tracker is a special kind of computer program or app that helps you remember when you’re fasting. Here’s what you can do with it:
- Tell it what kind of fast you’re doing (e.g., Ramadan, Monday/Thursday fasts, or any other special day).
- Choose the dates you want to fast.
- Get a neat report to see all your fasting days in one place!
Why Use a Fasting Tracker?
Using a Fasting Tracker makes it easier to stay on track. You can:
- Keep all your fasts organized, whether it’s for the whole Ramadan month, just Mondays and Thursdays, or any extra fasts you choose throughout the year.
- Feel proud of yourself when you see your fasting days all logged in!
Types of Fasting You Can Track

- Fasting six days in the month of Shawwal after Ramadan offers great rewards, equivalent to fasting for a lifetime.

- These are the 13th, 14th, and 15th days of every lunar month. Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) encouraged fasting on these days.
- Day of Arafah (9th Dhul-Hijjah)
- Fasting on the Day of Arafah is highly virtuous, expiating sins for the past and coming year.
