How many prayers in a day?

1. Fajr: Dawn
2. Dhuhr: Noon
3. Asr: Afternoon
4. Maghrib: Sunset
5. Isha: Night

There are hundreds of places where Allah has mentioned about (salah) namaz:

وَ يُـقِيْمُوْنَ الصَّلٰوةَ

Who believe in the unseen, establish prayer

Surah Baqarah ;Ayah No 03

IMPORTANCE OF NAMAZ

1- Allah has ordered us to offer prayer;

وَاَقِيۡمُوا الصَّلٰوةَ

And establish prayer


Surah Baqarah; Ayah No 43

2-Allah has ordered to seek help with sabar(patience) and salah;

وَاسۡتَعِيۡنُوۡا بِالصَّبۡرِ وَالصَّلٰوةِ ‌ؕ


And seek help through patience and prayer,

Surah Baqarah; Ayah No 45

3- Allah has ordered you to protect your salah especially the central (Asr)

حَافِظُوۡا عَلَى الصَّلَوٰتِ وَالصَّلٰوةِ

Maintain with care the prayers and the middle prayer

Surah Baqarah; Ayah No 238

4- Reward for the people who offer prayers;

الَّذِیۡنَ اٰمَنُوۡا وَ عَمِلُوا الصّٰلِحٰتِ وَاَقَامُوا الصَّلٰوۃَ وَ اٰتَوُا الزَّکٰوۃَ لَہُمۡ اَجۡرُہُمۡ عِنۡدَ رَبِّہِمۡ


Indeed, those who believe and do righteous deeds and establish prayer and give zakah will have their reward with their Lord

Surah Baqarah; Ayah No 277

5-The people who offer prayers and do some other deeds their bad deeds will change the good as;

وَ الَّذِیۡنَ صَبَرُوا ابۡتِغَآءَ وَجۡہِ رَبِّہِمۡ وَ اَقَامُوا الصَّلٰوۃَ وَ اَنۡفَقُوۡا مِمَّا رَزَقۡنٰہُمۡ سِرًّا وَّ عَلَانِیَۃً وَّ یَدۡرَءُوۡنَ بِالۡحَسَنَۃِ السَّیِّئَۃَ اُولٰٓئِکَ لَہُمۡ عُقۡبَی الدَّارِ ﴿ۙ۲۲

And those who are patient, seeking the countenance of their Lord, and establish prayer and spend from what We have provided for them secretly and publicly and prevent evil with good - those will have the good consequence of home -

Surah Raad; Ayah No 22

6- Allah has ordered Muslims to offer prayer in time;

اِنَّ الصَّلٰوۃَ کَانَتۡ عَلَی الۡمُؤۡمِنِیۡنَ کِتٰبًا مَّوۡقُوۡتًا ﴿۱۰۳


Indeed, prayer has been decreed upon the believers a decree of specified times.


Surah an Nisaa ;Ayah No 102

Association (with God)

1-It is major sin in Islam, as described;

اِنَّ الشِّرۡكَ لَـظُلۡمٌ عَظِيۡمٌ ۞

Indeed, association is great injustice."

Surah Luqman: Ayah No 13

2-The first sin from which Allah has forbidden to all human specially Muslims is shirk as described in the Quran:

وَاِذۡ اَخَذۡنَا مِيۡثَاقَ بَنِىۡٓ اِسۡرَآءِيۡلَ لَا تَعۡبُدُوۡنَ اِلَّا اللّٰهَ

And when We took the covenant from the Children of Israel, , "Do not worship except Allah"

Surah Baqarah; Ayah No 83

قُلۡ تَعَالَوۡا اَتۡلُ مَا حَرَّمَ رَبُّكُمۡ عَلَيۡكُمۡ‌ اَلَّا تُشۡرِكُوۡا بِهٖ شَيۡئًـــا

Say, "Come, I will recite what your Lord has prohibited to you. that you not associate anything with Him,

Surah Anaam;Ayah No 151

3-The rare sin which will not forgive by Allah SWT as;

اِنَّ اللّٰهَ لَا يَغۡفِرُ اَنۡ يُّشۡرَكَ بِهٖ وَيَغۡفِرُ مَا دُوۡنَ ذٰ لِكَ لِمَنۡ يَّشَآءُ‌ ۚ وَمَنۡ يُّشۡرِكۡ بِاللّٰهِ فَقَدِ افۡتَـرٰۤى اِثۡمًا عَظِيۡمًا‏ ۞


Indeed, Allah does not forgive association with Him, but He forgives what is less than that for whom He wills. And he who associates others with Allah has certainly fabricated a tremendous sin.

Surah an Nisaa ; Ayah No 48

Quran says: 

يٰۤاَيُّهَا الَّذِيۡنَ اٰمَنُوۡا قُوۡۤا اَنۡفُسَكُمۡ وَاَهۡلِيۡكُمۡ نَارًا وَّقُوۡدُهَا النَّاسُ وَالۡحِجَارَةُ عَلَيۡهَا مَلٰٓئِكَةٌ غِلَاظٌ شِدَادٌ لَّا يَعۡصُوۡنَ اللّٰهَ مَاۤ اَمَرَهُمۡ وَيَفۡعَلُوۡنَ مَا يُؤۡمَرُوۡنَ ۞


O you who have believed, protect yourselves and your families from a Fire whose fuel is people and stones, over which are angels, harsh and severe; they do not disobey Allah in what He commands them but do what they are commanded.

Surah Tahrim Ayah No 6:


They make dua for Muslims as;

اَلَّذِيۡنَ يَحۡمِلُوۡنَ الۡعَرۡشَ وَمَنۡ حَوۡلَهٗ يُسَبِّحُوۡنَ بِحَمۡدِ رَبِّهِمۡ وَيُؤۡمِنُوۡنَ بِهٖ وَيَسۡتَغۡفِرُوۡنَ لِلَّذِيۡنَ اٰمَنُوۡا‌ ۚ رَبَّنَا وَسِعۡتَ كُلَّ شَىۡءٍ رَّحۡمَةً وَّعِلۡمًا فَاغۡفِرۡ لِلَّذِيۡنَ تَابُوۡا وَاتَّبَعُوۡا سَبِيۡلَكَ وَقِهِمۡ عَذَابَ الۡجَحِيۡمِ ۞


Those who carry the Throne and those around it exalt with praise of their Lord and believe in Him and ask forgiveness for those who have believed, , "Our Lord, You have encompassed all things in mercy and knowledge, so forgive those who have repented and followed Your way and protect them from the punishment of Hellfire.

Surah Gafir Ayah No 7

Some angels are kiraman katebeen كِرَاما كَاتِبِيْن as described by Allah SWT

كِرَامًا كَاتِبِيۡنَ ۞

noble scribes,

Surah Infitaar: Ayah No 11

هُوَ سَمّٰٮكُمُ الۡمُسۡلِمِيۡنَ ۙ 

 

Allah named you "Muslims" 

 

 Surah Hajj ;Ayah 78 

اِنَّ الدِّيۡنَ عِنۡدَ اللّٰهِ الۡاِسۡلَامُ ۗ 

 

The Religion before Allah is Islam (submission to His Will)

 

 Surah Al-imran; Ayah 19

قُل لِّلْمُؤْمِنِينَ يَغُضُّوا۟ مِنْ أَبْصَـٰرِهِمْ وَيَحْفَظُوا۟ فُرُوجَهُمْ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ أَزْكَىٰ لَهُمْ ۗ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ خَبِيرٌۢ بِمَا يَصْنَعُونَ ٣٠

 

˹O Prophet!˺ Tell the believing men to lower their gaze and guard their chastity. That is purer for them. Surely Allah is All-Aware of what they do.

وَقُل لِّلْمُؤْمِنَـٰتِ يَغْضُضْنَ مِنْ أَبْصَـٰرِهِنَّ وَيَحْفَظْنَ فُرُوجَهُنَّ وَلَا يُبْدِينَ زِينَتَهُنَّ إِلَّا مَا ظَهَرَ مِنْهَا ۖ وَلْيَضْرِبْنَ بِخُمُرِهِنَّ عَلَىٰ جُيُوبِهِنَّ ۖ 

 

And tell the believing women to lower their gaze and guard their chastity, and not to reveal their adornments1. except what normally appears.2. Let them draw their veils over their chests, and not reveal their ˹hidden˺ adornments

2: Sha شاء: Means Wills        = If Allah Wills or Allah willing

This word is also used in the Quran,

Surah Saffat: Ayat No 102:

فَلَمَّا بَلَغَ مَعَهُ ٱلسَّعْىَ قَالَ يَـٰبُنَىَّ إِنِّىٓ أَرَىٰ فِى ٱلْمَنَامِ أَنِّىٓ أَذْبَحُكَ فَٱنظُرْ مَاذَا تَرَىٰ ۚ قَالَ يَـٰٓأَبَتِ ٱفْعَلْ مَا تُؤْمَرُ ۖ سَتَجِدُنِىٓ إِن شَآءَ ٱللَّهُ مِنَ ٱلصَّـٰبِرِينَ ١٠٢

Translation: Then when the boy reached the age to work with him, Abraham said, “O my dear son! I have seen in a dream that I ˹must˺ sacrifice you. So tell me what you think.” He replied, “O my dear father! Do as you are commanded. Allah willing, you will find me steadfast.

The phrase 'In Sha Allah' is a sunnah of prophet Muhammad PBUH and we should also say this. Saying "In Sha Allah" has many benefits, such as using this phrase to strengthen their connection with Allah. 'In Sha Allah' can correct any work, making our tasks easier and reminding us that we should obey Allah.

So, everything will be fine (In Sha Allah) when you say this!
